The New Living Translation (NLT) is a translation of the Bible into modern English. Originally starting out as an effort to revise The Living Bible, the project evolved into a new English translation from Hebrew and Greek texts.
Pros and cons of NLT Bible. Holy Audio Version app for iPhone and iPad
NLT Bible. Holy Audio Version app good for
Great Bible for new Christians especially! But thats not to say that its not the right version for those of us that grew up studying the Bible. I would love for this app to have a verse of the day pop up in notifications!
I enjoy reading from this NLT. The translation makes it easier for me to understand the topic when comparing areas of study to my Life Application Study Bible & my KJV. I do wish that the notes and highlight icons were accessible on my app. I cant get the keyboard to appear when I choose those icons. Am I doing something wrong? Help?
Excellent Bible App. Easy read , true to form. Love love love it
Some bad moments
I went to read the 33 rd Psalm and realized immediately that this translation was incorrect.
The Lord is not capitalized once... Checked my bible just to be sure. Of course our Lord would be important enough to capitalize his title. If this is not translated correctly how could one be sure that they are reading Gods inspired word? I am going back to the printed hard copy!
Pls., check the numbering of the verses. They are not matching with other translations. Separate the headings and make them bold.
Example: John 11:35 should be "then Jesus wept". In this edition, it is listed as John 11:36. The verses throughout this edition are not numbered correctly, and at the end of each chapter, the numbering has increased by 3 to 10 numbers. Please fix according to actual numbering of the Bible.
A lot of the issues to where the scripture numbering was off.
The sub headings are numbered like verses so it throws off what you are used to seeing. For instance "Jesus feeds the 5,000" would be considered verse 10 when it should not be numbered at all or considered a verse. Other than that I like the ability to enlarge the font size way beyond what other editions offer. It would be nice to know what else you get with the purchased version.
